The Gospel of the Kingdom

The aim of Dignity and Justice – the Gospel of the Kingdom is to:

  • Equip leaders with a solid Biblical understanding of the gospel mandate to reach out and change the lives of the oppressed and people who are living with poverty
  • Increase dialogue around partnerships that transform
  • Showcase the activities of existing local ministries

We’re encouraging churches and Non-Profit Organisations to be part of the conference, and to come with items, e.g. information, artefacts, photos, etc. that will celebrate how local Christians are addressing various forms of poverty.

The Vineyard’s Derek Morphew (author of Breakthrough: Discovering the Kingdom) and Quinton Howitt (Christianity and the Poor) will be our main speakers.  Soul Action’s Phil Bowyer will be facilitating conversations on advocacy, anti-human trafficking, development, education, health and youth.

The Vineyard will be recording the weekend to generate course material for VI Bible School students in Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, the UK and Ireland and the USA.  Courses and modules are available for local churches to use as part of their leadership training; some countries use VI for larger gatherings of leaders in geographic regions or areas.
