Integral Mission South Africa is an emerging network of people, project and church leaders committed to addressing various forms of poverty and joining God’s mission – with nothing left out! Our 2013 National Consultation represents an opportunity for the collection, connection, and collaboration of followers of Jesus who are doing their best to seek first God’s Kingdom in South Africa. Some of those already taking part include:

Serving in Mission South Africa (SIM) – a community of God’s people who delight to worship Him and are passionate about the Gospel, seeking to fulfil the mission of Jesus Christ in the world.

Christian Action Network, Kempton Park - a network of organisations, groups and individuals who care for the welfare of the needy.

Bonginkosi Self Help Project - exploring ways to create more sustainable, dignified and Christ like lives in the Inadi area of Sweetwaters.

Full Time Mum of Four – a committed Christian with experience in international development, wanting to hear what God is doing in South Africa and what He may be calling her to.

LogoEthembeni HIV/AIDS Ministry – bringing hope to families affected by HIV, AIDS and TB in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands by providing comprehensive and gender-specific care and prevention services.

Care South Africa Community Network – motivating, promoting and initiating Christian synergy,  and community caring for poverty alleviation and social development.

LIV (Lungisisa Indlela Village) – providing holistic residential care for vulnerable children.  Rescuing a child, restoring a life, raising a leader and releasing a star.

KZN  Human Trafficking Task Team - Advocating, training, raising awareness, co-ordinating and prosecuting.

SOCHO – ‘Opening the Door to Opportunity.’  The development of quality, affordable residential property for low income households, and in particular formerly disadvantaged members of the community who qualify for the government housing subsidy. This includes families with special needs such as the disabled, young adults with a regular income and single parent families.

Inner City Ministries - a network of  Christian Leaders from Durban’s Inner City.

Smyrna Global Outreach – aims at Socio-economic and cultural development of remote and vulnerable communities to improvement the people’s livelihood and self sustaining communities through provision of equitable participatory integrated development interventions.

Varsity College – lecturer at Durban North and Westville, KZN.

Lungisani Indlela – transforming and empowering the lives of the children, teenagers and families in Amaoti community and surroundings.

JL Zwane Centre (Ikhaya lethu lokuphambukela) – is committed to protecting the dignity of the individual, developing human capital, rescuing hope through Word and Deed with Christ in the centre of our lives.

iThemba Lethu - impacting the lives of babies and young people whose future is at risk of being negatively affected by HIV/Aids.

Richards Bay Community Church - uplifting local crèches and day cares in townships in the uMhlatuze Municipality, Richards Bay, by providing them with food, clothes , teacher training and upgrading facilities and to help them become healthy self-sustaining centres.

Tree Shakers - facilitating partnership between the corporate sector and NGO’s with integrity and transparency.

Oasis in South AfricaOasis South Africa – committed to working in an inclusive, integrated, empowering and comprehensive way so that all people experience wholeness and fullness of life.

E3 Initiative South Africa – exists to develop leaders, strengthen churches and transform communities, predominantly in East and Southern Africa.

Grace Aid - demonstrating compassion by addressing poverty through relief and development

Izulu Orphan Projects – serving, educating and providing for the desperate and deserted orphans and HIV infected widows with children through individualised, family centred, community forced care.

Grace Family Church – reaching people to help them to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through a fully-functioned Biblical community.  Grace has campuses at Umhlanga, Ballito and Riverside, KZN.

HOPE for AIDS - engaging and supporting local partners in an effective, holistic and compassionate response to HIV and AIDS that transforms individuals, families and communities through Christ’s love.

I Learn to Live - bridging the gap between school leavers in disadvantaged areas, tertiary education institutions and centres of learning, by providing the knowledge and resources which are available to us as an organisation. We believe every South African child should be given the opportunity to learn in order to become equipped so that they may sustain themselves and their families in the future, rather than relying on others to do so.

St Agnes Anglican Church, Kloof - living lives that allow the Holy Spirit of God to transform us into being more like Jesus so that we can express God’s love to a damaged and hurting world.

Richards Bay Christian School – training Grade R teachers and early childhood development, supplying food for crèches to provide healthy meals daily, upgrade facilities to ensure a healthy and efficient.

The Container Ministry - an established network of over 140 trustworthy charitable organizations involved in caring for the poor. A conduit of food, equipment and related relief aid to those who need it most in the east of South Africa and lower Mozambique.

tearfundTearfund - A leading relief and development charity, working in partnership with Christian agencies and churches worldwide to tackle the causes and effects of poverty.

Andy Flannagan - is a Christian singer songwriter from the UK who is touring South Africa in March. His latest album ‘Drowning in the Shallow’ was described as a “near-perfect album” by Cross Rhythms magazine.  Visit

Soul Action - facilitating opportunities for Christians who are passionate about integral mission to network, train and work together, in order to address various forms of poverty in a holistic way.

Integral Mission Initiative - sharing a deep commitment to integral mission, learning from others and growing in our practice of it. The Initiative exists to encourage more churches all over the world to embrace the theology and practice of integral mission, and to support them through friendship and signposting good materials.

Crossroads Kwa Zulu Natal – a humanitarian initiative, responding to a range of socio-economic challenges faced by South Africa’s poorest communities, through relief work and a multi-disciplinary approach to development.  Delivering services in the areas of health, education and poverty alleviation.  Collaborating with other Non Government Organisations, Faith Base Organisations, Government and Communities.

The Diakonia Council of Churches – an ecumenical, inter-church agency, working with churches and church organisations in the pursuit of a more just society. By this we mean an improved quality of life for the poor, as well as changes in attitudes and structures which perpetuate injustice.

St Martin’s Anglican Church, Durban North - a vibrant Anglican church with a vision to stay ROOTED in our unchanging God as we SERVE a changing society.  We value worship that is passionate, intimate, reverent and biblical, ministry in the power and gifts of the Spirit modelled in a mature and responsible way and teaching through Biblical exposition as a means to equipping people for a Spirit-filled Christian life and ministry.

The Seed of Hope Community DevelopmentSeed of Hope reaches out with holistic programs addressing health, educational, economic, social and spiritual needs by responding to need, equipping leaders, and changing.

KFIC, Community Development Agent – is committed to reach out to the multitude of disadvantage multi-cultural communities through group discussion, one-on-one, referral, social meeting, partnership and church service etc.

Mount Zion Carr Nation Ministries – aim to bring Christ’s abundant love to Inanda first, and then to the whole wide world.

The Salvation Army - is a vibrant and dynamic church, rooted in Christ, supporting each other and focused on community

Inkanyezi Yethemba Labangcwele – serve for the interest of uplifting and to reach the hearts of hearts.

Khayelisha Care Project – give love, hope and a future to every child.

Rock of Life Church – bring life through Christ, our Lord.

Christian Prayer Lounge - bring hope to the hopeless, help challenged to gain their strength; to assist the wounded in their healing process in Jesus’ name; to present Christ as a major and (only) healer that can be trusted.
